Coach

Eric Dobsha had a standout junior career in Florida. He was ranked inside the top #5 in singles in every age group, culminating with a #1 ranking in the 18's, following his win in the 18's at the Bobby Curtis State Closed. In doubles, he was ranked #1 in every age group in Florida. 

In national level play, Eric was ranked top #10 in singles in every age group, with a high of #7 in his first year of 18's. In doubles, he was ranked #1 in every age group. He won 5 gold balls in doubles over his career, topped off with a win in the prestigious USTA National 16's in Kalamazoo, MI.  Eric went on to play at the University of Florida, where he was ranked top #50 singles and top #20 doubles in NCAA rankings. He is a proud member of the 1994 SEC Championship Team, who just celebrated their 25th anniversary.

Eric has been coaching for over 25 years, and has produced scholarship players for University of Florida, Florida State University, University of South Carolina, L.S.U., University of Virginia, Vanderbilt, Brown, Furman, Montevallo and many other Universities and Colleges. His students have amassed over 5 million in college aid, and he has overseen over 40 students who have gone on to play college tennis. Eric also brings his coaching passion to his TTJL and Women's League teams. He loves working with every level and age group. He finds the relationships he cultivates to be his biggest source of happiness.

Coach

Sukhwa Young is a former NCAA Division 1 player reaching as high as the #1 junior in the USA.  He played against many top 20 ATP players such as Rafael Nadal, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Thomas Berdych, Gael Monfils and John Isner, to name a few.  
 

He has coached many top nationally and internationally ranked athletes and helped them get scholarships to D1,D2,D3 and Ivy League colleges.  Sukhwa Young was the assistant coach for St. Leo University and helped them finish top #4 in the Nation. 
 

He brings his extensive playing experience and passion for tennis to his teaching and helps guide players and parents to reach their goals. 

Administrator

Ulli Frizelle was born and raised in Austria. Ulli's journey with tennis began once her first born developed a passion for the sport. Now a mother of 3, Ulli and her children are all active throughout the Eric Dobsha Tennis Academy. Ulli's responsibilities range from administering and scheduling group clinics to handling payments and memberships at both locations, Van Dyke Farms and Northdale Golf and Tennis Club. Ulli loves keeping all students and parents updated throughout our social media pages.
