Coaching Standards
At EDT, high-quality programs are built on strong coaching standards. Our team operates under shared expectations designed to ensure consistency, professionalism, and a positive experience for every player and family across all locations.
Ongoing education is a core part of what it means to coach at EDT. Every member of our coaching team makes a commitment — to themselves and to the players they work with — to continue learning and growing throughout their time at EDT. By staying current with best practices in instruction, player development, communication, and athlete care, our coaches deliver thoughtful, modern training aligned with EDT’s player-first philosophy.
In addition to individual growth, EDT holds regular internal staff trainings and collaborative meetings each month. These sessions allow our coaches to align across programs, share ideas, review teaching standards, and continuously improve how we support players and families.
From junior development to adult programming and high-performance training, EDT coaches are guided by clear principles around teaching fundamentals, professionalism, and player care. By investing in education, collaboration, and accountability, EDT creates training environments where players feel confident, supported, and challenged — and where families can trust the quality of instruction at every location.
